Investor Relations Manager - Financial Services plc (London)

One of the UK’s largest listed insurance groups is growing their Investor Relations team. They are now looking for an experienced and highly motivated IR Manager to facilitate the management and delivery of an effective internal and external investor relations function. A strong communicator with the credibility to interact at senior level both internally and externally, you will need a rigorous approach to analysis, the ability to challenge information and to manage conflicting and demanding priorities with high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
This is a challenging role for an Investor Relations professional with a solid knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, ideally in the insurance/financial services industry.
Supporting and working alongside the Head of IR, responsibilities include:
Analysts & investors: -
- Review broker research & provide brokers with factual feedback on notes and models
- Build & maintain consensus
- Assisting analysts in building and updating their models, and understanding the results and ad hoc announcements and their earnings impact. Work with Head of Investor Relations to agree City positioning
- Monitor peer group activity & industry best practice
- Research and provide answers to investor queries
- Act as point of contact for investors and sell-side analysts
Internal:-
- Maintain the CRM database
- Undertake shareholder register analysis and devise/ implement investor targeting strategy
- Preparation of board/ ExCo papers
- Keep abreast of issues affecting the sector and ensure emerging issues are disseminated internally as appropriate
- Develop and manage the annual IR activity programme
- Project manage investor/ analyst events including conferences, roadshows, presentations, meetings etc
- Draft presentations and scripts as well as developing Q&A documents
- Develop strong relationships with key contacts including advisors and service providers
