Companies must keep talking - IR Society announces its 2008 Best Practice Awards short list.
30 September 2008
Companies must continue an active dialogue with their investors and stakeholders said Mike Mitchell, General Manager of the Investor Relations Society when he unveiled the shortlist for the Society's Best Practice Awards today.
"Investors put an even greater emphasis on the effectiveness of company communications in times of great market turbulence. This year we are especially looking at the way in which companies have risen to the challenges of developing their business reviews and leveraging the increasing number of effective online tools, as well as those who have made the most strides overall in improving their communications. These awards recognise companies that are leading the way in best practice communications in these important channels."
The winners of the awards will be announced on 25 November at the Society's Annual Awards Dinner.
